DR SUHAIB HASAN
Shaykh Suhaib Hasan Abdul Ghaffar, born in India but brought up and educated in Pakistan. After completing Islamic and Arabic studies (Fadil Arabic, 1960) and English language studies (B.A. 1962), he joined the newly-set-up Islamic University at Madinah, Saudi Arabia for higher studies in the faculty of Sharia.
He studied under a galaxy of prominent scholars such as Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, Muhammad Amin al-Shanqiti, Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani and later his father Shaykh Abdul Ghaffar Hasan. After graduating in 1966, he began his career as a teacher and worker in Islamic Dawa at Nairobi, Kenya on behalf of Darul Ifta.
In 1976, he moved to London where he engaged in Islamic Dawa especially through the forum of Al-Quran Society. Currently he is a trustee of Masjid & Madrasah al-Tawhid Trust and Secretary of the Islamic Sharia Council of Great Britain.
He presented two television programs for Huda Satellite Tv: Parables of the Holy Quran and His beautiful names.
ABU BILAL SANEL
Shaykh Abu Bilal graduated from Madinah Islamic University (K.S.A) with a BA Hons in Shari'ah and specialises on the field of Fiqh and Aqeedah. He graduated with a Bachelor in Shariah-Law, 2007.
He successfully completed the course at the Arabic Language Institute, Al-Madinah (KSA), during a period of three years Arabic language course from the year 2000-2003. He has a general Ijaza (accreditation) in some of the major Hadith- and Fiqhbooks (by S. Hamid al-Buchary, Al-Madinah). While studying he has attended a number of regular duroos and seminars by notable scholars (mainly from AL-Madinah) at the Prophets’ Masjid as well as privately.
He was a full time KS1 & KS2 Teacher at Olive Tree School, Lewisham (London, UK). In addition to that he is a part-time Khateeb and lecturer in different places delivering Friday Sermons in different languages (UK and Switzerland). Development and supervisor for Swiss Muslims Scouts, Zurich (Switzerland), 1998. He has done different translations of Islamic texts (Arabic-German-English).
He is currently a primary school teacher at Apex Primary School were he helps and supports the need for a high standard of academic education coupled with an Islamic atmosphere. He has delivered many Friday Sermons, courses and lectures at the Islamic Dawah Centre helping us bring positive community change. Abu Bilal has delivered regular sermons at an Islamic Dawah Centre Annual Conferences for many years now.
MURTUZA KHAN
Abu Hasnayn Murtaza Khan is a well known Islamic lecturer and teacher from London. He graduated from the International Islamic University, Islamabad in June 2001 with BA Honours in Usool-ud-Din (foundations of the religion) and has been actively involved in the field of da'wah for many years.
He is also a visiting khateeb at Al-Ansar Islamic Education Centre, Islamic Da'wah Centre and University of East London, an Arabic and Qu'ran teacher at the Tayyibun Institute as well as travelling extensively as a lecturer on various Islamic topics.
He has worked closely with numerous organisations and individuals to promote Islam and has translated and presented various seminars and lectures. He is involved in da'wah across the UK and travels extensively to promote and revive the pure and monotheistic religion of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
SH SHAQUR REHMAN
Shaykh Shaqur Rehman has completed a PGCE along with an MA in Applied Linguistics. He preceded his secular studies with a traditional Islamic education beginning in Egypt in 1999-2001 which he further developed in Syria and Saudi Arabia whilst teaching English in various universities and institutions.
During his Islamic studies, he managed to memorise the Holy Qur’an and attain authorisation (Ijaza) in recitation and various Islamic sciences including theology and jurisprudence.
Shaqur is currently a Senior Advisor at the Islamic Council of Europe.
USTADH ASIM KHAN
Ustadh Asim Khan is currently the Imam of Redbridge Islamic Centre, Instructor for the Sabeel institute, & author for Islam21c.com. He has, from an early age, excelled in academic studies and has gained a Masters in Pharmacy from the University College London, UK, as well as studying Arabic and Quranic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt.
Asim Khan appears regularly on Islam Channel’s religious programming & is currently presenting the Dreamer show for Eman Channel. Ustadh Asim has a special interest in Tafsir studies and teaches the subject in London where he lives.
